Targets, Touches & Looks Week 2 - QB chart

(View Enlarged Chart)

- Andrew Luck’s passing and rushing volumes are both worrisome for those who drafted him hoping for that top 5 upside. His yards per attempt are near the bottom of the league. He’s fantasy QB21 through two weeks and it may not get any better against the Eagles defense in week 3.

- Patrick Mahomes had the most FF Pts/Look out of all QBs, but had a weekly rank of 24thmost looks, and has the 27th most looks on the season. Expect some regression, although it’s hard to after watching him for two weeks. CC Ryan Fitzpatrick.

- Blake Bortles had the 5thmost FF Pts/Look, and currently has the 7th most looks on the season. Bortles has finished as the Fantasy QB8 over the past three seasons, with QB13 being his worst of the three. He has an easy schedule ROS and shouldn’t be overlooked.

Running Backs

- Matt Breida had the 4thmost FF Pts/Look on the week and has established himself as the RB to own in San Francisco, especially in PPR formats. Grab him if he’s available and roll him out against the Chiefs who have allowed the most FF Pts to running backs through 2 weeks. He’s currently leading the league in rushing yards…

- Royce Freeman hasn’t been getting the volume that was expected taking him in the 4th round. He only got 9 looks in week 2, and was on the field for only 16 snaps. Proceed with caution until we see an increase in volume.

- Christian McCaffrey had the 3rd most looks of the week, yet only had the 31st most FF Pts/Look on the week in standard scoring. Owners have to hope the receptions stay in the double digits weekly.

Wide Receivers

- Quincy Enunwa has the 12th most looks on the season. He is a must add in PPR formats.

- Tyler Boyd has the 33rd most looks in the league after two weeks. He’s passed Ross in terms of FF promise and should be added in deeper PPR leagues.

- Allen Hurns and Michael Gallup have only 5 and 3 looks on the season respectively. The guys who were hyped to potentially be the #1 option on the Cowboys have not been getting it done.

- Will Fuller looks as if he’s ready to take on an increased role in the Texans offense in terms of volume. Maybe he won’t be the boom or bust guy that he’s been perceived to be in the past.

Tight Ends

Targets, Touches & Looks Week 2 - TE chart

(View Enlarged Chart)

- Jimmy Graham got solid volume in week 2 going 8/6/95. Perceived by many to be a touchdown or bust player, maybe he’s got some of the Jimmy Graham of old left in the tank, like we saw back with the Saints.

- Will Dissly is the TE3 in PPR scoring through two weeks. Will his volume and red zone usage maintain in the coming weeks or will this be a time share with Nick Vannett and Ed Dickson?

- Gronk only had 4 targets in week 2. Although the return of Julian Edelman and the incoming of Josh Gordon could reduce his target share, it may improve his situation going forward as there will be more weapons for defenses to worry about.
