Stagg Party's Week 11 DFS

Pillar: WR, Brandin Cooks – FanDuel $7,700 / DraftKings $6,600

Brandin Cooks is coming into a great matchup without Chris Hogan to steal targets from him. With Hogan out of the lineup last week Cooks saw 30% of his teams targets. Against the Raiders who are susceptible to big pass plays, I am slotting Cooks into my lineup immediately. The game has one of the highest totals of the weekend, and a shootout could mean a plethora of deep shots to Cooks. Brady is among the league leaders in balls thrown 20 yards down the field, and with the Raiders giving up the most yards on fly and go routes since the start of last season, all I can hear is one thing: Cha-ching.

Sleepers: WR, DeVante Parker – FanDuel $6,200 / DraftKings $6,500

DeVante Parker is like Tej in 2 Fast 2 Furious, he needs to be more involved early on in the game, rather than just being the fourth quarter savior. This season, exactly half of Parker receptions have come in the fourth quarter of games. With Landry in the final year of his deal, and Kenny Stills locked up long-term, the Dolphins would be best served to start feeding this guy the ball in favor of the impending free agent Landry in order to make an informed decision on whether or not you need him back. Parker is an athletic freak and needs those 8-10 target games toi see if he can turn into the guy he is most often comped to athletically, which is A.J. Green. The B     ucs have allowed a double-digit fantasy wide receiver in every game this season in ½ PPR and have spent the season being torched, fire up Parker this week.

Low Cost Dart Throw: TE, Jared Cook – FanDuel $5,600 / DraftKings $4,800

Jared Cook is coming off 100 yards in two of his last three games and now gets a great matchup against the Patriots linebackers. With Kelce sure to be a lock in most people’s lineups, you can differentiate a bit with Cook and get slightly lower ownership on a player who is becoming a bigger piece of his team’s offense. Look has at least five targets in every game but one and should excel against the Patriots who look to have gotten their cornerbacks healthy. Throw Jared cook into your lineup and hope he continues his hot streak as of late.

Fade: RB, Leonard Fournette – FanDuel $9,300 / Draftkings $8,200

Leonard Fournette may get a giant workload this week against the Browns, but they have been a stout run defense.  The Browns have yet to allow a running back to rush for more than 67 yards against them this season and have been stout overall. On the season, the Browns are allowing just 3.11 yards per carry to opposing running backs, second best in the league and are allowing just 4.06 yards per touch, well below the league average of 4.76. While the weather may give Fournette the benefit of added touches, sloppy weather can mean sloppy offensive line play in the trenches, mucking up his chances even more.

ØC's Week 11 DFS

Pillar: TE, Travis Kelce – FanDuel $7,500 / DraftKings $7,300

Kelce has 20+ FF points in his last two starts and collected a touchdown in each of his last three games. This week, Travis and the Chiefs face the worst defense against opposing tight ends. New York’s defense against the position is laughingly bad, allowing 10 touchdowns to tight ends alone! Coming off a bye, Kansas City needs to keep their foot on the gas and start the second half of their season on a high note. Kelce is main ingredient for this success, and the Week 11 matchup is juicy.

Sleeper: RB, Jerick McKinnon – FanDuel $6,400 / DraftKings $5,700

Jerick and the Minnesota Vikings will face a tough test at home against a surprising LA Rams squad. The one weakness for the Rams however, is their rush defense. Along with this spicy matchup, Jerick has three 20+ FF point performances in the last six weeks which include at least five receptions in each. He will split the work load with Latavius Murray but in a high scoring affair, the Vikings should pick up the pace on offense and McKinnon is the preferred back in these situations.

Dart Throw: RB, Duke Johnson Jr. – FanDuel $5,600 / DraftKings $4,400

The Browns face the best pass defense in the league (Jacksonville), so naturally the rushing attack should be the main focus on offense. Austin Ekeler collected five receptions for 77 yards and two touchdowns through the air for the Chargers in Week 10, along with 42 complimentary rush yards against the same Jaguars. I expect Isaiah Crowell and Duke Johnson to total 30-35 touches between them, but for Johnson to bring in 5-7 receptions, making his PPR value much higher

Fade: RB, Todd Gurley – FanDuel $8,700 / DraftKings $8,400

Todd Gurley is a stud and should be a finalist for “Fantasy Football Player of the Year”. However, Week 11 will prove to be his downfall against the toughest rush defense in the league. Also, Gurley has not reached 20 touches in the last two weeks. The last time he faced a tough matchup was Seattle in Week 5 and six FF points was all he could muster. At such a high price, the Todd-father won’t be worth the fantasy production.
