Leonard Fournette

Jacksonville Jaguars

Rookie Wall?

Fournette came off of essentially 20 days of resting and rehabbing the injured ankle suffered in the fourth quarter of Jacksonville’s October 15th loss to the Rams, when he suited up last week against the L.A. Chargers. Last week, he carried 17 times for 33 yards. According to Florida Football Insiders, Leonard Fournette's ankle is "still not right," and he could be limited if he plays this week against the Browns.

I’ve heard a few people recognize that Cleveland’s run defense has been underrated this year. They started out pretty strong, but they have been fading lately, especially when it comes to the pass-catching backs over the past five games. Yeldon or Ivory could be that sneaky flex you’re looking for.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Ground and Pound

According to Forecast.io, it's expected to be 39° F and with a 18% chance of snow and 20 MPH wind in Cleveland at 1:00 PM ET.

This is something to watch Sunday morning, especially if you were high on the Jacksonville passing game facing Cleveland this weekend. The snow doesn’t matter, but the wind could eliminate any deep balls. If you’re looking for a Dede or K. Cole explosion, like I have been, I think we’re going to have to wait at least one more week. Marquis Lee should be fine, he’ll still get his targets. The running game should benefit, but Fournette is questionable with an ankle.

Jay Ajayi

Philadelphia Eagles

Ajayi Slated for More Work in Week 11

Coaches have come out and said there is a concentrated effort to increase Ajayi's workload.

Fantasy Goo: Certainly Corey Clement impressed in their last game, Week 9 against Denver. However, he won't sustain the pace of 3TDs on just 13 touches. I do like both players in GPP, I would certainly save Clement for the larger tournaments where you take on more risk in order to differentiate yourself from the field. Still, Ajayi has had a bye week and a game to get familiar with his new digs. Each game from now on, should highlight his comfort and growth in the system.

Devonta Freeman

Atlanta Falcons

Coleman to Increase Workload Sans Freeman

Devonta Freeman is in concussion protocol. That leaves Tevin 'Betchya Bottom Dollar" Coleman to pick up extra duties.

Fantasy Goo: Freeman was taken out very early on in last week's game. Because of this, Coleman seized the reins with command. He finished as Draft Kings 10th best RB of the week. Their Week 11 matchup with the Seahawks could easily turn into a high schoring affair as Seattle is without starters Richard Sherman, Kam Chancellor, and Jarran Reed. What Seattle puts on the field will not resemble what we are accustomed to. Coleman should seize thee opportunity.

Buffalo Bills

Bills Getting Gashed

In the last 3 weeks, the Buffalo Bills have given up 8 TDS. There is not a team in the league that has given up more than 8 rushing TDS ALL SEASON!

Fantasy Goo: There is trepidation about Gordon this week. Ekeler made a bit of a name for himself last week as Gordon owners experienced fits or rage and madness last week. I still like Gordon even in cash this week. Still whichever back you prefer, they should have a field day.

Jamaal Williams

Green Bay Packers

Next Man Up

As expected, Ty Montgomery officially ruled OUT for Sunday against the Ravens. Jamaal Williams should start at running back.

Williams is not Montgomery or Jones, I would not recommend starting him if you can prevent it. It will probably take a positive game script for him to be heavily use, don’t be surprised if we see Cobb being used in the backfield, especially in third-and-long situations.

Alshon Jeffery

Philadelphia Eagles

Open Door for Agholor

Eagles coach Doug Pederson says that Alshon Jeffery's ankle injury has been lingering for a while, but he is "optimistic" he'll play against the Cowboys Sunday night. He will be listed as questionable.

I’m looking at Nelson Agholor having a nice opportunity to put up some points with Dallas being the 24th ranked defense against opposing WR’s. Ertz coming off of the injury report is an obvious play, he’s a must start whenever he’s on the field.

It seems as though Jeffery plays through injuries every year, but he’s not very effective when he does. His injuries tend to linger and former performance enhancer users tend to get hurt more often.

Kareem Hunt

Kansas City Chiefs

KC Ready to Run

The KC/NYG game could experience heavy winds, and certainly, a blowout of the Giants is a likely outcome as well. If either, or both of these potential situations play out, it could be good things for the KC ground game.

Fantasy Goo: The Giants have surrendered 3 rushing TD in their last 2 games. On the season, they have given up the 5th most yards to opposing backs. Hunt is a great cash game play, and in GPPs, I will toss out a few line-ups with West, maybe 5%. If indeed it is a blowout, the Chiefs, led by Reid who is 16-2 off a bye, could look to lighten the load for their workhorse RB and let Charcandrick bat cleanup.

Sterling Shepard

New York Giants

Sterling Shepard's Time to Shine

The Giants are going to need to put the ball in the air against KC. Keep an eye on the winds in this one. If it is north of 15mph, I will lessen my DFS shares.

Fantasy Goo: If the winds are not bad, Shep could get some looks as he should dominate KC's Steven Nelson. There are 84 starting cornerbacks in the NFL for Week #11. Nelson comes in at #80 according to PFF

Tom Brady

New England Patriots

Brady a Top Bet for DFS Cash Games

The Patriots stayed in mile-high country last week in order to get acclimated to higher altitudes. The Raiders remained at sea level. This week they square off in Mexico City, which is much higher than one mile up. The difference could be seen in the 2nd half where the Raiders could run out of gas.

Fantasy Goo: Regardless of the elevation narrative, this game opened as the only 50 pointer this coming week. Football Outsiders ranks Oakland dead last for defensive DVOA, weighted defense, and overall pass ranking. Plus, Tom Brady is a great stack with Gronk against Oakland who is notoriously bad versus tight ends. Finally, New England will likely be missing Hogan, the recipient of 11 red zone targets this season. Gronk could easily be the beneficiary, as he has 13 himself.

Mike Evans

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

FanDuel Triple Play - Pass Go Collect 2TDS

This Sunday is "National Play Monopoly day." What does that mean for FD? Absolutely nothing, but I'm taking a "chance" and grabbing these 3 players that have a bit higher price tag because that's how I won at Monopoly.

Mike Evans @MIA - $7,800 - Much like AJ Green last week, I am banking on Evans to deliver his game of redemption and bounce back in a BIG way. Ryan Fitzpatrick will only have eyes for the 6'5 Evans as he once did for Brandon Marshall in NY. Evans will coast down A1A for 2TDS!

Travis Kelce @NYG - $7,500 - Kelce has 3TDs in the last 3 games. The Giants are giving up a TD every game to opposing TEs this season. That's crazy! Momma ain't raise no fool. 1+1= 2TDs!

Melvin Gordon vsBUF - $7,800 - The Bills gave up 50FPTS at home to the Saints dynamic duo of Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara just last week, and now have to fly to LA. Gordon will stampede all over the Buffalo Bills. 2TDs in da house!

Stagg Party's Week 17 DFS Picks

Pillar: Aaron Rodgers - DraftKings - $7,700 / FanDuel - $8,800   [GB@DET]

Rodgers is coming off his best game of the season, in which he did it all. Rodgers passed for over 300 yards, threw four touchdowns, and rushed for another one for a huge fantasy score. Despite the “slow start” to his season, Aaron Rodgers needs just ten fantasy points to have the second best fantasy season of his career, and that looks primed to be blown away. We have seen the lack of a true consistent run game force the Packers to the air and that could happen again as besides last week against Dallas, the Lions have had a strong rush defense all season long. All the Green bay touchdowns are likely to go through Aaron Rodgers and that makes him one of the best plays of the week, plus he is just locked in. The Packers and Lions may know that this is a winner take all game or a that they are both in at the time of playing, but even then this game will have division winning applications and answer the question of which team will host a home game next week while the other could have to go on the road.

Mid Priced Core Piece: - Mark Ingram - DraftKings - $5,600 / FanDuel - $6,100 [NO@ATL]

Mark Ingram is coming off a nice week last week in which he rushed for 90 yards and 2 touchdowns. Most importantly, he out snapped Tim Hightower 48 to 15 last week and will look to have the first 1,000 yard rushing season of his career. Ingram needs 59 yards to hit that mark and has a good matchup against the Atlanta Falcons who allow the 11th most fantasy points to opposing running backs on the season. This game also has one of the biggest totals of the season at 56.5 points. New Orleans is a veteran team and we have seen the legendary shootouts between these two teams in the past, so I will have a ton of Ingram in my lineups.

Low Cost Dart Throw: Jacquizz Rodgers - DraftKings - $4,900 / FanDuel - $5,200 [CAR@TB]

Quiz looks primed to be the lead back again for the Buccaneers in Week 17 as Doug Martin is starting to serve a four game suspension for PED’s after last weeks surprise inactive. Charles Sims was also placed on IR ceding a big workload over to Quiz. The Buccaneers will also be playing with a sliver of hope for the playoffs in an early game so they could ride Rodgers early and often. In games without Martin and Sims, Rodgers saw big workloads both running and receiving. At his price, Quiz is hard to top in terms of expected workload. The Panthers don’t have much to play for at this time, and their defense has shown it over the last five weeks allowing an average of 80 yards rushing and a touchdown per game.

Fade: DeMarco Murray - DraftKings - $6,300 / FanDuel - $7,800   [HOU@TEN]

DeMarco Murray is coming off a great season, but now the Titans are out of it. Murray doesn’t have any real milestones to hit and his quarterback is already done for the year so the Titans could take it easy on him. I could take the easy route and tell you not to play anyone who is out, but Murray seems like a guy who could be in, will be in a pretty decent spot, and has been awesome this year, but I just think they could give more to Derrick Henry then we expect, to see if he can handle a big workload at the NFL level. This one could bite me, but I won’t be rostering any DeMarco this week.

Stack of the Week: Aaron Rodgers and Jordy Nelson [GB@DET]

PyromaniacMo's Week 17 DFS Picks

Pillar: Devonta Freeman- DraftKings - $7,000 / FanDuel - $8,000 [NO@ATL]

Atlanta still has skin in the game as they are attempting to get a first round bye. Not only that, they are also expected to score more than any other NFL team according to Vegas. This game could easily be one to target as a shootout is likely. Atlanta opened as 6.5 favorites. Freeman is almost impervious to game script as he is heavily targeted out of the backfield as well. According to Pyro’s own Positional Points Against chart, only three teams are giving up more FF Points to opposing RB1s. Not only that, the Saints have surrendered the 4th most rushing TDs this season. In their last meeting earlier this year, Freeman had his second best day of the season putting up just over 29 Draft Kings points. With the amount of scoring expected, that type of day seems well within his grasp yet again.

Mid Priced Core Piece: Golden Tate - DraftKings - $6,600 / FanDuel - $5,700 [GB@DET]

This is a great cash play as Tate has been a solid producer as of late. In the last five weeks, he is Stafford’s security blanket. He has amassed 47 targets and 460 yards in that span. Green Bay has allowed the 5th most WR FF Points in that time. Tate will matchup against Damarious Randall, who according to PFF, grades out at 116 out of a total of 119 corners. The Packers have been slipping on defense, heck in the last two games they have allowed three different receivers to amass triple-digit yardage days against them. This game will decide the NFC North Divisional champ, and if Detroit is to get it done, a large percentage of their offense should flow through Golden Tate.

Low Cost Dart Throw: Dion Lewis - DraftKings - $4,000 / FanDuel - $5,200 [NE@MIA]

On the season, the Patriots are perfect on the road. Since Lewis has come back from injury, the team is really involving him in the offense. In the past two weeks, Lewis has more first half carries than Blount, 20 to 12. The Dolphins are already going to the playoffs, so you could easily see them trying to get a bit of rest where they can. The Patriots on the other hand are still trying to lock up home field and a first round bye. That is something that seems achievable. In the last five weeks, the Dolphins have surrendered the 4th most rushing yards, the second most PPR points to the position, and no one has given up as many receptions or yards to backs out of the backfield.

Fade:  Ezekiel Elliott - DraftKings - $7,400 / FanDuel - $8,800 [DAL@PHI]

The Cowboys cannot improve their situation any, win or lose. So, they are going to the playoffs, and this week’s game means virtually nothing. Would you play your studs in that situation? The coaching staff has already come out and said McFadden will be getting more work than normal, and they have hinted at more work than Zeke himself. It is certainly the smart move. This is precisely the reason you should target only team’s that have a vested interest in playing Week 17. I generally plan out my bankroll on a 16 game outlook. As far as I am concerned, this week is just for kicks.

Stack of the Week:   Matt Ryan / Devanta Freeman/ Mohamed Sanu

Houdini's Week 17 DFS Picks

Pillar: Aaron Rodgers – Draft Kings $7,700 / Fan Duel $8,800 [GB@DET]

Rodgers is playing in one of the meaningful games this week, and depending on what happens earlier in the day could make it a very crucial game. If Washington beats the Giants then the loser of this game is out of the playoffs. Rodgers got back on track last week throwing for 347 yards and four touchdowns against the Vikings. He also threw four touchdowns in his last meeting against the Lions. The Packers are rolling and the Lions are reeling, and with the weather not being a factor there should be a lot of offense in this game with Rodgers leading the way.

Mid Priced Core Piece: Golden Tate – Draft Kings $6,600 / Fan Duel $5,700 [DET vs. GB]

The Lions are in a fight for the division and possibly a fight for their playoff life against the Packers this week. Green Bay is going to bring a lot of offense to this game, and the Lions are going to have to keep the pace. Golden Tate is the most trusted target for Matthew Stafford and should see the majority of targets this week against the Packers poor secondary. Tate has been targeted 40 times over his last four games, and should see at least 10 targets this week.

Low Cost Dart Throw: Fitzgerald Toussaint – Draft Kings $4,300 / Fan Duel $4,500 [PIT vs. CLE]

Everyone is thinking that DeAngelo Williams will be the main man this week for the Steelers, but I would rather take my chances with Toussaint. Williams is coming back from a knee injury, and I believe they are going to take it slow with him, especially since they will want him to be healthy for the playoffs. The Browns are atrocious against the run and Fitzgerald is going to do a lot of damage at a low cost this week.

Fade: Ezekiel Elliott – Draft Kings $7,400 / Fan Duel $8,800 [DAL@PHI]

The Cowboys have nothing to play for this week, and no matter what they say about playing their starters there is no reason to risk injury to Elliott in a meaningless game with the playoffs right around the corner. I don’t expect him to play more than the first quarter at most, and will be spending my money on other players.

Stack of the Week:  Aaron Rodgers and Jordy Nelson [GB@DET]
