@BleedGoldandRed Yeah, Keenan was one of the tougher ones, probably will end up with Thielen over Keenan and Allen in that next tier.

ALL PLAYERS LISTED ARE OWNED IN 70% OR LESS OF CBS LEAGUES

QUARTERBACKS

MITCH TRUBISKY – BEARS – AVAILABLE IN 69% OF CBS LEAGUES

Mitch had the best passing game for a Bears quarterback in the modern era, throwing for 354 yards with six touchdowns and no interceptions. You cannot count on this going forward, but we can also see that the training wheels have been taken off of Trubisky and the ingenuity of this offense will keep him viable as a starting QB going forward. The Bears are just beginning to show what Nagy has in his playbook, and that should be encouraging if you are going to grab Mitch.

JAMEIS WINSTON – BUCCANEERS – AVAILABLE IN 66% OF CBS LEAGUES

The Ryan Fitzpatrick show is over and Jameis Winston will be installed as the starter coming of their Week 5 bye. Winston was not great against the Bears, completing 16 of 20 passes for 145 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. That being said he is now the leader of an offense that is going to put up big passing numbers (Fitz did it and Winston will too). If you are struggling for help at QB you can safey grab Winston and expect some big games.

MARCUS MARIOTA – TITANS – AVAILABLE IN 69% OF CBS LEAGUES

Marcus had a huge game this week and put to rest the worry about the hand injury. He threw for 344 yards with two touchdowns and one interception, while rushing 10 times for 46 yards and another score. The Titans offense had looked anemic until this game, but this is what we all thought this offense would look like. The Titans have been trying to establish the run game, but their offense is more effective when Mariota is playing like this. The rushing potential also makes him a smart pick up.

RUNNING BACKS

NICK CHUBB – BROWNS – AVAILABLE IN 57% OF CBS LEAGUES

Ok so Chubb only had three carries last week but they went for 105 yards and two touchdowns. He showed the speed that is required to be a dominant back in this league and he is going to see more opportunities going forward. Carlos Hyde is still the main back, for the time being, but Chubb is the future and the glimpse he gave last week will lead to more carries in the coming weeks. Grab him now while you still can.

MIKE DAVIS – SEAHAWKS – AVAILABLE IN 99% OF CBS LEAGUES

Seattle always seems to find a running back off the street that comes in and puts up fantasy points. Enter Mike Davis. Davis shined with Chris Carson out with injury, with21 carries for 101 yards, two touchdowns and four receptions for 23 yards. He had 12 more carries that Rashad Penny, who was effective with nine carries for 49 yards, but the trust is not there for him to take the workload. If Carson misses another game Davis is a viable one-week replacement, but he does face the Rams so temper it a little bit.

NYHEIM HINES – COLTS – AVAILABLE IN 68% OF CBS LEAGUES

The Colts are having all kinds of issues running the ball this year, and Hines was not particularly good gaining 10 yards on four carries. Although that is not why he is on this list. He is the pass catching back in an offense that can’t run consistently and that will give him opportunities like he had last week when he caught nine of 11 targets for 63 yards with two scores. He is carving out a nice spot in this offense, and could be heavily targeted again this week in New England.

ITO SMITH – FALCONS – AVAILABLE IN 79% OF CBS LEAGUES

I had Smith on this waiver wire piece two weeks ago and last week he carried seven times for 35 yards with a touchdown and caught three passes for 13 yards. He is not going to have the long term ability, but if you are in a deep league and Freeman misses another week you can grab him for a plug and play against the Steelers next week.

WIDE RECEIVERS

DEDE WESTBROOK – JAGUARS – AVAILABLE IN 61% OF CBS LEAGUES

Dede has seen his role in the offense increase over the past two weeks and it paid off this week when he was targeted 13 times, caught nine of them for 130 yards. Westbrook is the receiver getting the targets, While Keelan Cole has gone silent. They will go back and forth, but Dede has emerged as the better receiver to own with his target share, especially in PPR leagues.

TAYLOR GABRIEL – BEARS – AVAILABLE IN 95% OF CBS LEAGUES

Gabriel had a huge game for the Bears this week, catching all seven of his targets for 104 yards and two touchdowns. Gabriel will continue to be a big part of this offense after Anthony Miller suffered a separated shoulder. The Bears also use Gabriel as a runner as he had one carry for 10 yards this week as well. The Bears offense is just starting to show what they can be, and Gabriel is going to be a big part of that and should be added in all 12 team leagues.

TAYWAN TAYLOR – TITANS – AVAILABLE IN 96% OF CBS LEAUGES

Taylor continues to see his role in the Titans offense increase, and he had his best game of the year on Sunday. He caught seven of nine targets for 77 yards. The Titans offense looked better with Mariota under center and that was good news for Taylor. This kid has a lot of upside and could provide a nice boom in the coming weeks.

ANTONIO CALLAWAY – BROWNS – AVAILABLE IN 38% OF CBS LEAGUES

Callaway has become the favorite target of Baker Mayfield and while he only caught three passes for 54 yards this week, he was targeted nine times. The Browns are giving him every opportunity to be a bigger part of this offense and we are paying attention and agree that he has a lot of upside if he is still available in your league.

PHILLIP DORSETT – PATRIOTS – AVAILABLE IN 88% OF CBS LEAGUES

Josh Gordon comes to Pats and everyone dropped Dorsett. He is showing that he is going to have a role in this offense the entire season. He caught four of seven targets this week for 55 yards with another touchdown. Gronk may be limited this week and Dorsett will be one of those that will be asked to pick up the slack. He is giving solid production, but you are most likely not going to get the huge game from him.

DONTE MONCREIF – JAGUARS – AVAILABLE IN 91% OF CBS LEAGUES

Once you get burned by a player in previous years it is hard to trust them again. This is the case with Donte Moncrief. Donte has been good this year and last week he caught all five targets for 109 yards with a 67-yard score. He is being used for the big plays and is seeing more targets of late compared to Keelan Cole. Especially with Fournette still out that give Moncreif more chances, and with his return could open up bigger plays downfield like we saw him connect on this week.

WILLIE SNEAD – RAVENS – AVAILABLE IN 93% OF CBS LEAGUES

Snead continues to go under the radar while John Brown gets all the attention, and he had another decent game this week, catching six of seven targets for 56 yards. If you are in a deeper league and need a receiver for bye weeks you could do worse than Snead.

KEKE COUTEE – TEXANS – AVAILABLE IN 99% OF CBS LEAGUES

Coutee had a huge game this week with 11 catches for 109 yards on 15 targets. Now keep in mind most of this work happened when Will Fuller left the game with hamstring tightness. If Fuller misses this week, Coutee will step in and could be a good one week replacement for Fuller.

OTHER RECEIVERS TO CONSIDER

COLE BEASLEY – COWBOYS – AVAILABLE IN 89% OF CBS LEAGUES

CHESTER ROGERS – COLTS – AVAILABLE IN 99% OF CBS LEAGUES

CAMERON MEREDITH – SAINTS – AVAILABLE IN 84% OF CBS LEAGUES

CHRISTIAN KIRK – CARDINALS – AVAILABLE IN 77% OF CBS LEAGUES

MARTAVIS BRYANT – RAIDERS – AVAILABLE IN 90% OF CBS LEAGUES

TIGHT ENDS

TYLER KROFT – BENGALS – AVAILABLE IN 99% OF CBS LEAUGES

The Bengals lost Tyler Eifert to a nasty ankle injury and once again Kroft will step in and be the lead tight end for the rest of the season. He showed his ability to viable without Eifert last year, catching seven touchdown passes.

VANCE MCDONALD – STEELERS – AVAILABLE IN 46% OF CBS LEAGUES

McDonald has replaced Jesse James as the top tight end target in Pittsburgh and he caught five passes for 62 yards this week. Jesse James is still there, but McDonald is getting more of the work as the receiving tight end. He should continue to get a decent target share going forward.

DWAYNE ALLEN – PATRIOTS – AVAILABLE IN 99% OF CBS LEAGUES

Gronk may miss this week with an ankle injury so this is a one week play, but Dwayne Allen would be the primary tight end if Gronk can’t go.

OTHER TIGHT ENDS TO CONSIDER

AUSTIN HOOPER – FALCONS – AVAILABLE IN 60% OF CBS LEAGUES

BENJAMIN WATSON – SAINTS – AVAILABLE IN 55% OF CBS LEAGUES

JEFF HUERMAN – BRONCOS – AVAILABLE IN 99% OF CBS LEAGUES
