ALL PLAYERS LISTED ARE OWNED IN 70% OR LESS OF CBS LEAGUES

QUARTERBACKS

MITCH TRUBISKY – BEARS – AVAILABLE IN 58% OF CBS LEAGUES

Trubisky is coming off the bye week and is still available in the majority of leagues. There is not a ton of talent available on the waiver wire, which is why you should grab Trubisky if you need help at QB. The Bears have a lot of weapons for him, especially with Tarik Cohen as a receiver out of the backfield, and you have to expect that he is going to continue to grow and mature in this offense. If that happens that means good fantasy production.

JAMEIS WINSTON – BUCCANEERS – AVAILABLE IN 51% OF CBS LEAGUES

Jameis is going to be the starter going forward and it is not often you find quarterbacks of his caliber available on the waiver wire with the type of offensive weaponry that he has. The Bucs defense is trash and they are going to need to put up 30+ points to win on a weekly basis. He will throw interceptions, but he will also throw a lot of touchdowns and for a lot of yards.

CASE KEENUM – BRONCOS – AVAILABLE IN 64% OF CBS LEAGUES

Case is not a flashy grab, but he is putting up numbers. This week he threw for 377 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. The Broncos have great weapons at receiver and Philip Lindsay is also doing damage from the running back position. You may have to look at the matchups that make the most sense, but he is throwing the ball a lot, and I like that in my fantasy quarterback.

SAM DARNOLD – JETS – AVAILABLE IN 81% OF CBS LEAGUES

Sam is still growing into the position, but he made nice strides with downfield throws this week. He only completed 10 of 22 passes for 198 yards, but three of those completions went for touchdowns with one interception. There is going to be a lot of inconsistency, but if you are in a deeper league looking for upside Sam is not a bad option.

RUNNING BACKS

WENDELL SMALLWOOD - EAGLES - AVAILABLE IN 90% OF CBS LEAGUES

Jay Ajayi has been lost for the season and that means more work ahead for Wendell. He is not going to be able to handle a workhorse back load (who does these days anyaway), but you can bet on him seeing at least 15 touches per game making him fantasy ready for your lineup. If you are in PPR leagues his value is increased even more. Corey Clement will be back next week and if he is available in your league is also a smart add. This could become a crowded backfield when Darren Sproles returns, but Smallwood has the edge as of right now.

MIKE DAVIS – SEAHAWKS – AVAILABLE IN 55% OF CBS LEAGUES

Chris Carson came back and got the majority of carries, but Davis was still part of the offensive plan. Davis carries 12 times for 68 yards with a touchdown and caught two passes for seven yards. Davis got work around the goal line and Pete Carroll has trust in him over the other backup running backs. It looks as if Davis is locked in as the second back, and should continue to get touches near the endzone.

NYHEIM HINES – COLTS – AVAILABLE IN 34% OF CBS LEAGUES

Hines is making his claim for more reps even when Marlon Mack returns. This week he had 15 carries for 45 yards, and caught seven of nine targets for another 45 yards. We knew he was the pass catching back, but 15 carries is very encouraging. He will continue to be a desired back in PPR formats, and if he can find the endzone he will be worth adding in all formats. Grab him now before that happens.

ALFRED MORRIS – 49ERS – AVAILABLE IN 51% OF CBS LEAGUES

Morris is going to be the lead back next week, as Breida is not expected to be able to go against the Packers after suffering a mid-ankle sprain. Morris had 18 carries for 61 yards and caught three of five targets for 30 yards. Breida scored a touchdown before leaving the game, and next week that will be Alfred’s carry. This is a great one to two week replacement buy, especially in standard formats.

WIDE RECEIVERS

TAYLOR GABRIEL – BEARS – AVAILABLE IN 81% OF CBS LEAGUES

Gabriel is coming off the bye and that is why he was not gobbled up last week. His role in the offense is increasing, and will continue to be consistent with no Anthony Miller. The Bears are opening up their offense, and that will mean more looks for Gabriel. Get on board now, before he lights up the Dolphins.

ROBBY ANDERSON – JETS – AVAILABLE IN 62% OF CBS LEAGUES

Anderson has been quiet this season, but he blew up this week with three catches for 123 yards with two scores. Robby is the deep threat for Sam Darnold and it takes a little more time to get that chemistry. This game should be the one that gets Anderson more involved on a weekly basis. He is going to be hit or miss, but his hits are big.

TRE'QUAN SMITH - SAINTS - AVAILABLE IN 96% OF CBS LEAGUES

You can't have much of a better introduction to fantasy football than Tre'Quan Smith had on Monday night. He finished the night with three catches for 111 yards and two touchdowns. Now all of that is impresive, but he caught a 62-yard touchdown pass from Drew Brees that made Brees the most prolific passer in terms of yardage in NFL history. Cameron Meredith was having the better first half until the score, and from that point on Smith took over as the deep play threat and then scored his second touchdown. Temper you expectations because Ted Ginn will be back, but the upside in dynasty and keeper leagues is undeniable after Monday Night.

KEKE COUTEE – TEXANS – AVAILABLE IN 59% OF CBS LEAGUES

Will Fuller was quiet in his return, but Keke was doing his thing once again. He caught six of seven targets for 51 yards with a touchdown. The Texans are having issues running the ball and that means that Keke should continue to see his role increase in the offense. There is also the potential Will Fuller continues to have hamstring issues and that means even more looks for Coutee

TAYWAN TAYLOR – TITANS – AVAILABLE IN 88% OF CBS LEAUGES

It was a rough week for Taylor and the Titans. He was targeted five times and caught three for 30 yards. These are not great numbers, but the Titans offense was anemic last week. There are better games ahead and he is getting more snaps each week.

CHESTER ROGERS – COLTS – AVAILABLE IN 90% OF CBS LEAGUES

The Colts can’t run and that is why Chester Rogers continues to see a lot of targets. This week he was targeted 11 times and caught eight of them for 66 yards. He is not scoring touchdowns, but the amount of targets will eventually lead to one. He could have had one last week on a deep pass that went right through his hands. He is a very solid add in PPR leagues.

DONTE MONCREIF – JAGUARS – AVAILABLE IN 84% OF CBS LEAGUES

Moncrief had a decent stat line with six catches for 76 yards, but the number that stands out is the 15 targets he received. Blake Bortles is gaining trust in Moncrief and if he continues to see anywhere close to this many targets he should be added.

WILLIE SNEAD – RAVENS – AVAILABLE IN 91% OF CBS LEAGUES

Snead was once again playing behind John Brown, but he still finished with a good stat line of five catches for 55 yards on seven targets. He has a consistent role in the offense; the only question is will he be able to break out with a 100-yard game. I am not sure I feel confident in that, but he does provide a good floor as a bye week replacement player.

MARQUEZ VALDES-SCANTLING – PACKERS – AVAILABLE IN 90% OF CBS LEAGUES

Marquez was the more targeted receiver this week for the Packers garnering 10. He caught seven of those for 68 yards with a score. If Cobb and Allison miss more time, which is expected, then you can confidently grab Valdes-Scantling and expect another good amount of looks against the 49ers.

OTHER RECEIVERS TO CONSIDER

PIERRE GARCON – 49ERS – AVAILABLE IN 62% OF CBS LEAGUES

CAMERON MEREDITH – SAINTS – AVAILABLE IN 85% OF CBS LEAGUES

CHRISTIAN KIRK – CARDINALS – AVAILABLE IN 80% OF CBS LEAGUES

MARTAVIS BRYANT – RAIDERS – AVAILABLE IN 91% OF CBS LEAGUES

EQUANIMEOUS ST. BROWN – PACKERS – AVAILABLE IN 99% OF CBS LEAGUES

TIGHT ENDS

AUSTIN HOOPER – FALCONS – AVAILABLE IN 47% OF CBS LEAGUES

Hooper finally saw a good target share this week with 12 of them and caught nine for 77 yards. The Falcons have a lot of weapons, which has limited his targets, but he does create mismatches and we finally saw it this week. Hooper will not likely see this many targets again, but he should see the number closer to six or seven on a weekly basis.

RYAN GRIFFIN – TEXANS – AVAILABLE IN 99% OF CBS LEAGUES

Griffin is always hanging around just under the radar and this week he caught six of nine targets for 65 yards this week. Houston has had to lean on the pass and with the weapons they have, Griffin is finding himself in favorable matchups. He is not a high ceiling player, but he has a decent floor to be a bye week replacement.

C.J. UZOMAH – BENGALS – AVAILABLE IN 77% OF CBS LEAUGES

Uzomah was the tight end that was more active in the passing game this week. He caught both of his targets for 43 yards. He will need to get more targets going forward to be trusted, but he should be added over Tyler Kroft. My bad last week.

OTHER TIGHT ENDS TO CONSIDER

BENJAMIN WATSON – SAINTS – AVAILABLE IN 57% OF CBS LEAGUES

NICK VANNETT – SEAHAWKS – AVAILABLE IN 96% OF CBS LEAGUES
