Kansas City Chiefs

We're Not in Kansas Anymore

There are steady 20-plus MPH winds w/35 MPH gusts in New York and that will prevent the deep ball from being a major factor in the Giants game vs KC.

Look for Alex Smith revert to the dink and dunk game which defined his career before this year’s break-out campaign. I really don’t think it hurts anyone’s value though. The Giants problems stem from poor talking and Hill can take a screen pass for 80 yards at any time. The Giants are so poor against the TE that Kelce should still be heavily used in DFS. We should also see a nice bump in Hunt’s usage across the board.

Sterling Shepard

New York Giants

Migraines Sideline Shepard

The Giants may be without WR Sterling Shepard, a late addition to their injury report, due to migraines, source says. They’ll check him out closer to kickoff to be sure.
Update: Sterling Shepard (migraines) is inactive for Week 11 against the Chiefs.

This would have been an awesome match-up for Shepard, and he was looking at plenty of targets, but I don’t mess with migraines. I’m pivoting to other players, and none of them are Giants.

Leonard Fournette

Jacksonville Jaguars

Rookie Wall?

Fournette came off of essentially 20 days of resting and rehabbing the injured ankle suffered in the fourth quarter of Jacksonville’s October 15th loss to the Rams, when he suited up last week against the L.A. Chargers. Last week, he carried 17 times for 33 yards. According to Florida Football Insiders, Leonard Fournette's ankle is "still not right," and he could be limited if he plays this week against the Browns.

I’ve heard a few people recognize that Cleveland’s run defense has been underrated this year. They started out pretty strong, but they have been fading lately, especially when it comes to the pass-catching backs over the past five games. Yeldon or Ivory could be that sneaky flex you’re looking for.

Update: Fournette is active, Ivory battling illness.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Ground and Pound

According to Forecast.io, it's expected to be 39° F and with a 18% chance of snow and 20 MPH wind in Cleveland at 1:00 PM ET.

This is something to watch Sunday morning, especially if you were high on the Jacksonville passing game facing Cleveland this weekend. The snow doesn’t matter, but the wind could eliminate any deep balls. If you’re looking for a Dede or K. Cole explosion, like I have been, I think we’re going to have to wait at least one more week. Marquis Lee should be fine, he’ll still get his targets. The running game should benefit, but Fournette is questionable with an ankle.

Jay Ajayi

Philadelphia Eagles

Ajayi Slated for More Work in Week 11

Coaches have come out and said there is a concentrated effort to increase Ajayi's workload.

Fantasy Goo: Certainly Corey Clement impressed in their last game, Week 9 against Denver. However, he won't sustain the pace of 3TDs on just 13 touches. I do like both players in GPP, I would certainly save Clement for the larger tournaments where you take on more risk in order to differentiate yourself from the field. Still, Ajayi has had a bye week and a game to get familiar with his new digs. Each game from now on, should highlight his comfort and growth in the system.

Devonta Freeman

Atlanta Falcons

Coleman to Increase Workload Sans Freeman

Devonta Freeman is in concussion protocol. That leaves Tevin 'Betchya Bottom Dollar" Coleman to pick up extra duties.

Fantasy Goo: Freeman was taken out very early on in last week's game. Because of this, Coleman seized the reins with command. He finished as Draft Kings 10th best RB of the week. Their Week 11 matchup with the Seahawks could easily turn into a high schoring affair as Seattle is without starters Richard Sherman, Kam Chancellor, and Jarran Reed. What Seattle puts on the field will not resemble what we are accustomed to. Coleman should seize thee opportunity.

Buffalo Bills

Bills Getting Gashed

In the last 3 weeks, the Buffalo Bills have given up 8 TDS. There is not a team in the league that has given up more than 8 rushing TDS ALL SEASON!

Fantasy Goo: There is trepidation about Gordon this week. Ekeler made a bit of a name for himself last week as Gordon owners experienced fits or rage and madness last week. I still like Gordon even in cash this week. Still whichever back you prefer, they should have a field day.

Jamaal Williams

Green Bay Packers

Next Man Up

As expected, Ty Montgomery officially ruled OUT for Sunday against the Ravens. Jamaal Williams should start at running back.

Williams is not Montgomery or Jones, I would not recommend starting him if you can prevent it. It will probably take a positive game script for him to be heavily use, don’t be surprised if we see Cobb being used in the backfield, especially in third-and-long situations.

Alshon Jeffery

Philadelphia Eagles

Open Door for Agholor

Eagles coach Doug Pederson says that Alshon Jeffery's ankle injury has been lingering for a while, but he is "optimistic" he'll play against the Cowboys Sunday night. He will be listed as questionable.

I’m looking at Nelson Agholor having a nice opportunity to put up some points with Dallas being the 24th ranked defense against opposing WR’s. Ertz coming off of the injury report is an obvious play, he’s a must start whenever he’s on the field.

It seems as though Jeffery plays through injuries every year, but he’s not very effective when he does. His injuries tend to linger and former performance enhancer users tend to get hurt more often.

Kareem Hunt

Kansas City Chiefs

KC Ready to Run

The KC/NYG game could experience heavy winds, and certainly, a blowout of the Giants is a likely outcome as well. If either, or both of these potential situations play out, it could be good things for the KC ground game.

Fantasy Goo: The Giants have surrendered 3 rushing TD in their last 2 games. On the season, they have given up the 5th most yards to opposing backs. Hunt is a great cash game play, and in GPPs, I will toss out a few line-ups with West, maybe 5%. If indeed it is a blowout, the Chiefs, led by Reid who is 16-2 off a bye, could look to lighten the load for their workhorse RB and let Charcandrick bat cleanup.

New York Giants

Sterling Shepard's Time to Shine

The Giants are going to need to put the ball in the air against KC. Keep an eye on the winds in this one. If it is north of 15mph, I will lessen my DFS shares.

Fantasy Goo: If the winds are not bad, Shep could get some looks as he should dominate KC's Steven Nelson. There are 84 starting cornerbacks in the NFL for Week #11. Nelson comes in at #80 according to PFF

Tom Brady

New England Patriots

Brady a Top Bet for DFS Cash Games

The Patriots stayed in mile-high country last week in order to get acclimated to higher altitudes. The Raiders remained at sea level. This week they square off in Mexico City, which is much higher than one mile up. The difference could be seen in the 2nd half where the Raiders could run out of gas.

Fantasy Goo: Regardless of the elevation narrative, this game opened as the only 50 pointer this coming week. Football Outsiders ranks Oakland dead last for defensive DVOA, weighted defense, and overall pass ranking. Plus, Tom Brady is a great stack with Gronk against Oakland who is notoriously bad versus tight ends. Finally, New England will likely be missing Hogan, the recipient of 11 red zone targets this season. Gronk could easily be the beneficiary, as he has 13 himself.

Mike Evans

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

FanDuel Triple Play - Pass Go Collect 2TDS

This Sunday is "National Play Monopoly day." What does that mean for FD? Absolutely nothing, but I'm taking a "chance" and grabbing these 3 players that have a bit higher price tag because that's how I won at Monopoly.

Mike Evans @MIA - $7,800 - Much like AJ Green last week, I am banking on Evans to deliver his game of redemption and bounce back in a BIG way. Ryan Fitzpatrick will only have eyes for the 6'5 Evans as he once did for Brandon Marshall in NY. Evans will coast down A1A for 2TDS!

Travis Kelce @NYG - $7,500 - Kelce has 3TDs in the last 3 games. The Giants are giving up a TD every game to opposing TEs this season. That's crazy! Momma ain't raise no fool. 1+1= 2TDs!

Melvin Gordon vsBUF - $7,800 - The Bills gave up 50FPTS at home to the Saints dynamic duo of Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara just last week, and now have to fly to LA. Gordon will stampede all over the Buffalo Bills. 2TDs in da house!

LATAVIUS MURRAY – RB – VIKINGS – AVAILABLE IN 34% OF CBS LEAGUES

ALL PLAYERS LISTED ARE AVAILABLE IN 30% OR MORE OF CBS LEAGUES

CREAM OF THE CROP

DONTRELLE INMAN – WR – CHARGERS – AVAILABLE IN 67% OF CBS LEAGUES

Inman continued his hot streak this week, catching six passes for 71 yards with a touchdown. Dontrelle has now scored a touchdown in three straight games. The Chargers may be without Melvin Gordon next week after leaving this week’s game with an injury. If he does miss the game you can expect the Chargers to lean more and more on the passing game, which is great news for Inman, who also has great matchups the next two weeks. Playoff schedule: Oak, @Cle

BILAL POWELL – RB – JETS – AVAILABLE IN 48% OF CBS LEAGUES

Powell was the man this week and he crushed the 49ers for 145 yards and two touchdowns on 29 carries, with another 34 yards on five catches. Powell is going to see a lot of touches the rest of the way, and could be a nice plug and play. Forte injured his knee and will get an MRI Monday, but expect Powell to be the main man for the rest of the season. Playoff schedule: Mia, @NE

SAM BRADFORD – QB – VIKINGS – AVAILABLE IN 74% OF CBS LEAGUES

Bradford has been quietly having a decent year, and grabbing him now could pay off big for you if you are struggling at quarterback. He threw for 292 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions this week, but he has a tasty playoff schedule that makes him a great stream over the next two weeks. Playoff schedule: Ind, @GB

ADAM THIELEN – WR – VIKINGS – AVAILABLE IN 80% OF CBS LEAGUES

Thielen went off for a 100-yard game this week, catching four passes for 101 yards. Adam has not posted three solid weeks in a row, and has become a trusted weapon for Sam Bradford. He has an excellent chance to be a good play over the next two weeks with favorable matchups. Playoff schedule: Ind, @GB

ALFRED MORRIS – RB – COWBOYS – AVAILABLE IN 61% OF CBS LEAGUES

Morris is great insurance if the Cowboys lock up home field and decide to rest Elliott, or at least reduce his workload over the final weeks of the season. Playoff schedule: TB, Det

PIERRE GARCON – WR – REDSKINS – AVAILABLE IN 52% OF CBS LEAGUES

Garcon has been a solid play since Week 8, and this week he gave you another solid performance, catching five passes for 59 yards with a touchdown. The Redskins are fighting for their playoff life, and have good matchups for Garcon the next two weeks. Playoff schedule: Car, @Chi

TREVOR SIEMAN – QB – BRONCOS – AVAILABLE IN 69% OF CBS LEAGUES

Sieman was throwing the ball a lot this week, and he completed 35 of 51 passes for 334 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions. The Broncos are not getting production from their running game, and newly signed Justin Forsett fumbled this week. Denver should lean on Sieman and the passing game the rest of the way. Playoff schedule: NE, @KC

MARQISE LEE – WR – JAGUARS – AVAILABLE IN 88% OF CBS LEAGUES

Allen Hurns is hurt, and Allen Robinson was ineffective this week, but Marqise Lee continues to show his value to the Jaguars offense. He had his best game of the year, catching five passes for 113 yards. He will have a good chance to keep that going over the next two weeks with nice matchups. Playoff schedule: @Hou, Ten

TYLER BOYD – WR – BENGALS – AVAILABLE IN 55% OF CBS LEAGUES

Boyd was still the player to add last week, but many others were fooled and went for LaFell. Boyd did not score a touchdown this week, but put up a good day with six catches for 49 yards and added 40 yards on two rushing attempts. He is the best receiver still playing for the Bengals, but has tough matchup next week, but an easier game in Week 16. Playoff schedule: Pit, @Hou

CAMERON MEREDITH – WR – BEARS – AVAILABLE IN 68% OF CBS LEAGUES

Meredith saw a nice increase in targets this week as expected after all the drops by Bellamy the previous two weeks. Cameron finished the day with 72 yards on six catches with a nice touchdown catch. He should continue to be a nice option over the next two weeks as he will be getting the targets and has nice matchups. Playoff schedule: GB, Was

DWAYNE WASHINGTON – RB – LIONS – AVAILABLE IN 84% OF CBS LEAGUES

Riddick missed this week with a wrist injury, and if he misses for time Washington will be the benefactor. This week he carried the ball 16 times for 64 yards, and caught one pass for 10 yards. His next two games will be on the road. Playoff schedule: @NYG, @Dal

CHARLES SIMS – RB – BUCCANEERS – AVAILABLE IN 70% OF CBS LEAGUES

Sims returned to action this week resuming his role as secondary and third down back for the Buccaneers. He started out slowly, but he made his present felt this week carrying the ball four times for 17 yards, and catching three passes for another 33 yards. He could be a nice plug and play over the next two weeks. Playoff schedule: @Dal, @NO

ANQUAN BOLDIN – WR – LIONS – AVAILABLE IN 58% OF CBS LEAGUES

Boldin continues to give you a solid fantasy floor, and this week he caught three passes for 49 yards, but added a touchdown. He has become a bigger part of the offense, and will at least give you 40 yards with the potential for a score, but he is not going to give you a monster yardage game. Playoff schedule: @NYG, @Dal

JACK DOYLE – TE – COLTS – AVAILABLE IN 72% OF CBS LEAGUES

Doyle continues to be a nice safety valve for Andrew Luck, and this week he caught five passes for 55 yards. He can provide you a nice floor if you need it, and has the potential for a score. Playoff schedule: @Min, @Oak

C.J. FIEDOROWICZ – TE – TEXANS – AVAILABLE IN 41% OF CBS LEAGUES

Fiedorowicz only caught three passes for 32 yards, but he did see redzone targets and was knocked out at the 1-yard line this week. He is not going to give you huge performances, but he is providing a nice floor right now. Playoff schedule: Jac, Cin

PLAYERS WITH UPSIDE THAT ARE WORTH STASHING

TY MONTGOMERY – RB/WR – PACKERS – AVAILABLE IN 57% OF CBS LEAGUES

Montgomery saw a lot of action this week, carrying the ball nine times for 41 yards with a touchdown, and he caught three passes for 45 yards. The Packers are going to rely on Montgomery to be the primary runner, and he can so many things on the field he is worth adding for the championship run. Playoff schedule: @Chi, Min

KENNETH FARROW – RB – CHARGERS – AVAILABLE IN 98% OF CBS LEAGUES

Melvin Gordon took a wicked shot this week and there is a good chance he misses next week’s game. If that is the case Farrow would step in as the lead back. He came in this week and carried the ball 16 times for 55 yards, and caught six passes for 23 more. There are few running backs you can pick up off the wire that will get this high a volume of touches this late in the season, so grab him if you can. Playoff schedule: Oak, @Cle

MATT MOORE – QB – DOLPHINS – AVAILABLE IN 100% OF CBS LEAGUES

Ryan Tannehill left this week’s game with a knee injury and was in street clothes to finish the game. It is believed to be an ACL injury to Tannehill. Moore came in and completed three of five passes for 47 yards. Moore is competent veteran, and the Fins are still fighting for the playoffs. He has a nice matchup next week, and could be a nice plug and play if you need him. Playoff schedule: @NYJ, @Buf

CHRIS CONLEY – WR – CHIEFS – AVAILABLE IN 99% OF CBS LEAGUES

Conley has big play ability and he showed it this week, catching two passes for 70 yards. The Chiefs are not a team that is going to throw the ball around the field a lot, so there are going to be busts with this guy, but he is exciting and will see one on ones with Jeremy Maclin back on the field. Playoff schedule: Ten, Den

SETH ROBERTS – WR – RAIDERS – AVAILABLE IN 96% OF CBS LEAGUES

Roberts is a boom or bust, but he has been seeing more targets lately. He only had two catches for 12 yards this week, and also had some glaring drops. Those drops might cost him targets next week, but he is the starting slot receiver and will get chances. Playoff schedule: @SD, Ind

WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET WITH THESE GUYS

TAVON AUSTIN – WR – RAMS – AVAILABLE IN 50% OF CBS LEAGUES

The Rams are doing a better job of getting the ball in Austin’s hands with Goff under center, but it is still so hit or miss, with a lot more misses. He had two carries for 27 yards and caught seven passes for 62 yards this week. Playoff schedule: @Sea, SF

CHARLES CLAY – TE – BILLS – AVAILABLE IN 84% OF CBS LEAGUES

Clay had one of his best games of the season with three catches for 52 yards and a touchdown. The 40-yard touchdown was the highlight play, but it mostly highlighted with poor tackling. Clay is better when Watkins plays, but the Bills don’t throw the ball enough to make him a confident start in any game for your fantasy playoffs. Playoff schedule: Cle, Mia

CARSON WENTZ – QB –EAGLES – AVAILABLE IN 49% OF CBS LEAGUES

Wentz threw for 314 yards this week, but he only threw one touchdown, with an interception and a fumble. There is upside with Wentz, but you can’t trust him in the next two weeks with your playoff life on the line. Playoff schedule: @Bal, NYG

ROBBY ANDERSON – WR – JETS – AVAILABLE IN 98% OF CBS LEAUGES

If you are reaching for this rookie for the last two weeks, you are probably doing just that, reaching. He had a nice game this week with six catches for 99 yards, but you can’t count on that production, especially with Bryce Petty under center. He also does not get to play the 49ers again. Playoff schedule: Mia, @NE

SMOKE AND MIRRORS – AVOID THESE GUYS ON THE WIRE

J.J. NELSON – WR – CARDINALS – AVAILABLE IN 80% OF CBS LEAGUES

Nelson scored two touchdowns on his only two touches this week. He had one catch for an 8-yard score, and carried the ball once for a 56-yard touchdown. That is what we call touchdown dependent people. He has a nice matchup next week, but you can’t count on the big play. Playoff schedule: NO, @Sea
