Alvin Kamara

New Orleans Saints

Primary Role Shifting

Saints have run 5 times at/inside opponent's 5-yard line over last 4 weeks (including playoffs):
Alvin Kamara 3 carries, Zach Line 1, Mark Ingram 1. Kamara was in on all 3 Saints run plays at/inside 5 vs. Panthers last week, including Line's 1-yard TD run.

Fantasy Goo: If you’re trying to decide between Kamara and Ingram for the playoff run, Kamara looks to be the much better play.

Alvin Kamara

New Orleans Saints

Need Some Good Kamara

Alvin Kamara leads all running backs in receiving fantasy points and would rank 23rd among all wide receivers. Atlanta is allowing the 3rd-most receiving fantasy points per game to opposing running backs after allowing the most last season.

Fantasy Goo: If you made it through to Championship week with Kamara dragging you down in week 14 (left due to injury) you should be quite happy with the re-match against Atlanta this week. Atlanta is tough against the rush, but Kamara’s game set’s up perfectly to take advantage of the Falcons in New Orleans.

Mark Ingram

New Orleans Saints

Pair of Aces

The Panthers allowed more RB1 games in Week 13 (2) than they had the rest of the season combined (1).

Fantasy Goo: The Saints running game is for real, Kamara and Ingram are both must-starts. They could shred a middle-of-the-road run defense like Atlanta.

Mark Ingram

New Orleans Saints

Ingram Always Money in Cash

The Saints are visiting the Rams in Week #13. Vegas has this pegged as the highest scoring affair in Week #13, and the only game predicted to go over 50.

Fantasy Goo: Ingram has just been feed opportunities since AP packed his bags. In fact, in the last 5 weeks, he and Kamara are 1 and 2 on Draft Kings; these boys are the only two RBs to amass over a buck in FF Points in that span. Because this should be a neutral game script as the spread is only (-3) for the Rams, it is not as likely that the Saints will need to pass as much. Situationaly, this is where Kamara excels. Still, I will have plenty of shares of both in GPP but Ingram in cash. Straight cash, homie! Indeed, Mr. Randal Gene Moss, straight cash indeed.

Mark Ingram

New Orleans Saints

From GoldJesus to RedJesus... Horray for Saints RBs!

Mark Ingram just became more worthy of whatever draft slot you used to pick him now that Adrian Peterson has been traded to the Cardinals for a conditional draft pick. This is great, someone had to go!

Doesn't really matter for Alvin, as he was ballin' and getting the Deion Sanders callin' anyway, but just so it's known, Alvin Kamara is on pace for 80 receptions on the season after 4 games (they had their bye week last week). He's good!

Alvin Kamara

New Orleans Saints

Waiver Wire Target

Kamara has become the second back in the Saints backfield, and you might even consider him the #1 with the way he is used in the passing game. He carried the ball five times for 25 yards and added 71 yards with a score on 10 catches. Sean Peyton is going to look for more ways to get this kid the ball. Grab him now if available.

Alvin Kamara

New Orleans Saints

Waiver Wire Target

Kamara has claimed a role in the Saints offense and this week he had two carries for 37 yards, with a 25-yard touchdown, and caught three passes for five yards. The Saints love his explosion, and he is the most explosive back they have. They could trade Peterson or Ingram, and if they do then Kamara’s stock goes way up.

Alvin Kamara

New Orleans Saints

Kamara Lives Up To Hype Today

“Saints rookie RB Alvin Kamara rushed 5 times for 61 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's preseason game against the Chargers. Kamara's first carry of the game was an explosive 50-yard touchdown run. He was also utilized in the passing game, catching a ball in the flat and scampering for a 20 yard gain.”

Fantasy Goo: This is all against the Chargers second and third string, so don’t get too excited, but it does appear that Kamara could contribute and make this backfield very difficult to predict from week-to-week. Kamara looks to be a very solid dynasty pick in the seventh round.

Alvin Kamara

New Orleans Saints

Saints Draft RB

The Saints drafted Alvin Kamara in the third round to fill the Reggie Bush/Pierre Thomas/Darren Sproles role in their offense.

Fantasy Goo: It may be hard for Kamara to get reps behind Ingram and AP, but the receiving back role in New Orleans does have strong fantasy value.

He's good!
