Zach Miller

Chicago Bears

Bears Actives: Miller and Carey

Both Miller and Carey were listed as Questionable. Both are slated to play today.

Fantasy Goo: while Jordan Howard owners were hopoing for a larger slice of the pie, Carey won't interfer that much with his load, which should be dignificant again. The Bears are banged up on the recieivng end, but Miller is a go.

Fantasy goo: Zach Miller should see a large number of targets again in Week 5 and is a solid streaming candidate. I like both players in DFS as well.

Jeremy Langford

Chicago Bears

Bears - Caveat Emptor

In the past 3 weeks, we have seen a swing back and forth between a committee and sole backfield. There have been talks of Ka'Deem Carey and the rookie Jordan Howard in a timeshare. The current conversation is Langford leading the community (2 or more rotating in.)

Fantasy Goo: Caveat Emptor is a latin term for "buyer beware." Langford's current ADP is right around the round 2-3 turn and at the present time, that is too rich for a convoluted situation. Langford showed flashes and I expect him to start because Fox gives veterans the nod most of the time. Carey vultured a couple touchdowns last year in goal line situations. Expect a Hill/Bernard like role in this offense.

Jeremy Langford

Chicago Bears

Bears to Employ Running Back by Committee aproach

During an interview with the Chicago-Tribune, head coach John Fox suggested that the Chicago Bears will employ a by-committee approach at the running back position and use whichever player has the "hot hand" between Jeremy Langford, Ka'Deem Carey, Jacquizz Rodgers and rookie Jordan Howard.

FANTASY GOO:
The Chicago Bears have enormous shoes to fill at the running back position since parting ways with long-time star Matt Forte. Jeremy is the favorite to see the majority of the workload in 2016, but it is a crowded backfield with solid depth that includes Ka'Deem Carey and rookie Jordan Howard. Despite the reports of Chicago using a by-committee approach to the backfield, Langford should still be viewed as a borderline low-end RB1/RB2 in the upcoming fantasy football campaign as he's proven that he can make plays on the on the ground and as a receiver out of the backfield. As the offseason develops, either Howard or Carey will emerge as Langford's handcuff and could be worth a flier at the tail end of the draft.

Ka'Deem Carey officially out for week 12

Brad Biggs has reported via Twitter "#Bears rule TE Martellus Bennett, WR Eddie Royal and RB Ka'Deem Carey out for Thursday night's game at #Packers"

Ka'Deem Carey rushed seven times for 28 yards

Everyone was expecting Jeremy Langford to come out as the starter, but it was Ka'Deem Carey with the actual start.

Langford however was the main bell-cow as he out-touched Carey 21-7. Expect Carey to continue to be the COP back, as the Chicago takes on St. Louis next week, and Langford will probably pop his cherry.

Ka'Deem Carey

Chicago Bears

Ka'Deem Carey officially out for week 12

Brad Biggs has reported via Twitter "#Bears rule TE Martellus Bennett, WR Eddie Royal and RB Ka'Deem Carey out for Thursday night's game at #Packers"

Ka'Deem Carey

Chicago Bears

Ka'Deem Carey rushed seven times for 28 yards

Everyone was expecting Jeremy Langford to come out as the starter, but it was Ka'Deem Carey with the actual start.

Langford however was the main bell-cow as he out-touched Carey 21-7. Expect Carey to continue to be the COP back, as the Chicago takes on St. Louis next week, and Langford will probably pop his cherry.
