Hi Lovie Smith...I apologize that your not smart enough to understand that Josh McCown is worse than Mike Glennon at quarterback, and now that you have made your switch, it doesnt appear you will be a head coach next season.

I dont know how long this situation will last, but make sure he is removed from your lineups, if he was even involved in a lineup.

Glennon's ability to drive the ball down the field to his outside receivers could help the running game. The Bucs also expect to have RB Doug Martin and TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins against Pittsburgh.

Even though Glennon is a better fit for the Buccaneer system, there is a reason he wasn't the starter to begin with. Glennon may be able to start-up Vincent Jackson and the rest of the crew.

Glennon is locking the job down long term

There is no guarantee that Schiano will be back for another season as the Bucs head coach, but Glennon has played well as of late.

Glennon was listed on my pickup article this week, and part of the reason is what Schiano is pointing to. The rookie is not turning the ball over, and 10 touchdown passes compared to one interception is something that most rookie passers are not able to achieve. There are less weapons in the offense right now, but he is still performing.

If you do grab him, understand this week it would not be a good idea to start him. Glennon will be facing the Panther this week, and their defense is for real.

Mike Glennon

Chicago Bears

Glennon looking to continue solid play

It has been a typical rookie season, with ups and downs, but the last 3 games have been good for the rookie. Glennon has 699 yards passing with 5 touchdowns and zero interceptions. This is really impressive considering their last 2 opponents were Carolina and at Seattle.

Glennon is showing some nice development, while playing for the winless Bucs. This week he will get a chance to face the Dolphins on Monday Night, and this could be the best week to face them, as they deal with internal struggles surrounding the Richie Incognito situation. The Fins will put the interception streak to the test, as they have an interception in all but one game this year.

Chicago Bears

Mike Glennon with no chance for chemistry this week

The Bucs decided to give the car keys to Mike Glennon, but they forgot to tell him he only has a 4 cylinder engine and 2 flat tires with no spares.

This could be a tough week as both Jackson and Williams also missed practice on Thursday. Hamstrings are tough injuries, so you can bet Williams will not practice at all this week, and while they have said the rib injury is not serious for Jackson, I have serious doubts about his availability this week. Regardless, the fact that Glennon is not able to practice with his his two main targets (Josh Freeman's only targets) there is not a lot of hope for chemistry unless they watch the Breaking Bad finale together.
