Dallas Cowboys

Williams has Choice Matchup Versus Green Bay

Williams will square off against Packers CB, Damarious Randall. Out of all the starting CBs this weekend, PFF gives him the lowest grade, and by a mile.

Fantasy Goo: Randall gives up just over one full fantasy point for every two routes run. Williams, who is only $100 above the site minimum on draft Kings, could provide phenomenal return on investment

Dallas Cowboys

IF Dez is Out, T-Will is a great Pick and Flick Player.

If indeed Dez is out, and why not, they have a bye next week, then Williams is my pick and flick candidate for a wide receiver you can pick up off the waiver wire now, and flick into your line-up.

Fantasy Goo: According to a PyroLytics Chart for FF Points against, the Packers are giving up the most FF Points to opposing WR1s. In fact, each #1Wr to go against them has knocked it out of the park and Williams could do just that sans Dez.

Dez Bryant

Dallas Cowboys

Dez Bryant Should Be Returning Following Cowboys Week Seven Bye

Dallas Cowboys beat writer Brandon George is reporting that "it continues to look like WR Dez Bryant (knee) won't return" for Week 6's contest against the Green Bay Packers.

Fantasy Goo: Bryant, who has been nursing a bum knee, is on track to miss his third consecutive game on Sunday against the Packers. Bryant "plans on" returning to practice this week, but the Cowboys "are not taking any chances" with their star wideout indicating that if he will likely be inactive for Week 6. With Bryant out, any one of Dallas' receivers could be featured depending on the game. In Week 4, Terrance Williams and Brice Butler found the end zone while in Week 5, it was Cole Beasley who caught a touchdown pass from Dak Prescott. Dallas' wideouts have a favorable matchup on Sunday against a shorthanded Packers secondary. For fantasy football purposes, proceed with caution, but Beasley should be considered the top bet for a productive outing this week.

Dez Bryant

Dallas Cowboys

Dez Will Likely Be on the Cowboy's Bench for Week 4

It is very likely Bryant will not play.

Fantasy Goo: He did not practice this week. HE is slated to warm up but not likely to play. I like Beasley to step up in his absence in a favorable matchup for him. I know Bryce butler will get the start in Dez's absence, but I look for a bigger slice of the pie for Beasley, perhaps T Williams.

Dallas Cowboys

Is Williams a breakout candidate?

Prisco is on board with Williams, and I also like his potential, but more goes into his success than just the fact that Miles Austin is gone. I agree his numbers will increase from last season, but how "dramatically" remains to be seen.

What Prisco is failing to take into account is that the Cowboys have the third most difficult schedule for wide receivers. That looks pretty good when you consider that they have the toughest schedule for quarterbacks. They have lost their starting middle linebacker, and defenses are going to be teeing off on Tony Romo. I agree his numbers will increase, but there is going to be a lot of inconsistency in that increase, which tempers my excitement.

Williams primed to keep producing

Miles Austin may be returning to the lineup for the Cowboys this week, although I would not count on him having a big game in his return. T-Will has continued to develop throughout the season, and having Austin back may just open things up for Williams.

Romo has gotten comfortable throwing to the rookie, evidenced by his five touchdown catches over the past six games. If you own Williams feel comfortable that he is going to be one of the main targets in the offense behind Dez.

Dallas Cowboys

Willaims has earned Jason Witten's respect

These are the types of things that happen behind closed doors that have major impacts. Williams did not have a good training camp or preseason and Witten as a leader let him know about it, then #83 had the costly fumble a week ago. This week he exorcised some demons and earned the respect of one of the leaders in the locker room. That is the type of thing that will help this rookie develop, and he should continue to be a nice fantasy weapon even when Miles Austin returns.
